Happy Halloween!
We had a really awesome week, lots of fun things and good lessons.
It’s been like summer here again, part 2.
Wonderful weather, loving breezes and lots of sunshine! We’ve been enjoy our time outside.
This week we had exchanges In Varna, which was a ton of fun.
I’m kinda sad I only got to be there for one transfer. It was a great time and we accomplished a lot.
The train we rode in was old, communist Era train. It was not a comfortable ride haha.
We’ve been trying to increase and bolster our relationship with the members because there hasn’t been missionaries here for so long.
So far it’s going well, and we’ve been working with a couple less active members. It’s been so fun and great get to know them and their stories.
In terms of work, we are teaching quite a few progressing people, and have a solid size pool of interested people which is a blessing. It is easy to see the hand of the Lord right now.
Been doing some super awesome origami with Elder Grover. He’s been teaching me some advanced techniques.
It’s a good conversation stater with people, and giving little trinkets to the Babas and families is great.
Their smiles are so worth it.
Cool things: found a jelly fish on the beach, that was fun.
I’ve started to learn piano, there is no one in the branch who can play…
Lunch with President Nikolov was awesome.
He is a pro artist and does ceramics. We visited his art studio.
And I bought one of his master pieces. It’s an abstract of the port here in Burgas, he painted it in 1988!
Found Mountain Dew, that was crazy!
And that’s about it!
Elder Grover is learning fast, and he motivates me.
I’m grateful for the time I’ve had here and the lessons I’m learning. I’ll keep you updated on our friends!
