April 8, 2023Hey Everyone!
I’ve got huge news, huge news I say. Unfortunately, I still can’t share it with you. My apologies to everyone that has been on the edge of their seats… Also sorry for the click bait title but I couldn’t resist! Next week, hopefully! Also, recently I’ve been loving the Bulgarian/Greek yogurt mixes they have here in Burgas. Way better than the Turkish Airon drink! I think I’d love to go to Greece, it’s so close, yet so far…
Anyways, we had a wonderful week, we enjoyed the company of the ZL’s and our district Leader Tuesday-Wednesday. It was awesome to have more missionaries here, we did a ton of work, they destroyed our nicely cleaned apartment, and we worked on this puzzle!
There’s been this awesome warm fog that’s been rolling in every morning from the sea, it’s super cool but visibility drops to like 20%
Saturday we had an amazing surprise lesson which went amazing. Our friend has a lot of potential, we are so excited for him.
Also this Saturday, we had an interesting encounter with pigeons in the roof of the church… that was crazy. A few pigeons had stowed away up in the roof of the church over the primary room and made a NEST. About 8 weeks too late we found out what was going on, and their eggs had already hatched. Unfortunately the chicks didn’t make it and were sitting in that room for a long while… and it wasn’t until the smell started to spread that we realized we had a problem. Naturally, we were called upon to take care of the problem. We quickly saw a small hole in a ceiling tile above the table, so I got on the table to check, only to find a dead chick, next to an egg on said. We both almost threw up, but then manned up for an hour to deal with it. We tore down some of the ceiling, got a broom stuck in it, and of course bird poop got everywhere. Needless to say we took 3 showers each and the Church has been airing out ever since. Fun times!
Anyways today we went exploring Burgas! We found a hobbit hole, that was cool. Then we found the famous Burgas sand sculptures. They are all dinosaur themed this year and they were really good! Way better than anything I did at Tahoe!
So excited for General Conference next weekend!! It’s amazing to have a living prophet, and to be able to learn from him! If you have any questions about what general conference is, or want to find where you watch it, send me an email!
Love you all, have an amazing conference weekend!

I think I know what your big news is. I read an article that said the president of the Bulgarian mission was called as one of the new seventy. Maybe I am wrong. Love reading your posts. So proud of you.
That’s a big part of it!! We are so excited for him! Thank you so much Sister Silver!
