Week 96 – Bottle caps!
May 29, 2024Week 96 – Bottle caps!
May 29, 2024Well my friends, considering my track record this could be the last update before the end of my mission! I’ll give a Homecoming talk on July 28th at 9am in the Carson River Ward. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Life has been wonderful. I’ve been enjoying living in Bulgaria, being among the people and learning from them! I’ve had lots of really awesome experiences lately while performing missionary work.
Taking the night train from Sofia to Varna, that was cool! Didn’t sleep much however
We visited our friend Koki at his home in the mountains.
His brother tends to chickens, turkeys, ducks, and carrier pigeons. Crazy place!
For my birthday, the sweetest newly baptized member brought us cake to celebrate! She is so awesome
We went to visit our Branch President at his home in the country side. Crazy beautiful area, he tends the coolest garden. We helped him pick golden cherries from his trees They were very tasty.
Some members from Eastern Bulgaria, where I’ve been lately, went on a temple trip to London, England.
It was the awesomest thing to help them prepare and get their family names ready for temple ceremonies and worship.
We ran into each other in Sofia (in Western Bulgaria) while we were traveling
There was another pigeon fiasco- this time in our apartment.
I can’t seem to escape them.
We were able to safely remove him from the vent in our bathroom.
We are teaching English lessons to the sweetest family.
I talked about how I didn’t have American football, and they went and got me one!
Can’t tell you where they found it. But it is a treasure.
Pray for Koki and his wife please! They will have a baby this month, and hopefully be baptized as well. It will be a wonderful month for them!
Have a wonderful week!
