January 1, 2024Quick update!
We had a really awesome week. We enjoyed traveling to Sofia for Zone Conference, overall it was a great experience.
Wednesday we had Thanksgiving dinner at President Nelson’s apartment, which was a lot of fun. Never had Айран at Thanksgiving dinner before, but it was pretty good!
Zone conference was very spiritual and motivating, I learned a lot from the trainings, and we had some great opportunities to set goals. This transfer, I was asked to serve as Zone Leader, which is a little scary, but overall I’m excited. The missionaries in our Zone are amazing and I can’t wait to learn from all of them and work a little more closely with them.
We had the opportunity this week to meet up with Plato!! He is doing so well, he loves the gospel and is already a great missionary.
In fact, we even got to meet up with his Dad! It was perfect. His dad doesn’t have too much interest right now, but he expressed good feelings toward the church, and that Plato is a part of it. I just cant wait to see what Plato’s future holds.
A cool challenge the president Nelson gave us was to read the Book of Mormon everyday, before and in preparation of Orthodox Easter. Got me thinking a lot about intent, and how we set goals often just to read the Book of Mormon all the way through, or a certain number of times within a time span.
It’s so much better if your intent for reading the Book of Mormon becomes something more meaningful, like preparing for something. Another huge part, is making sure we are reading everyday, which is something Elder Bednar recently taught about in the Europe Area.
So! I invite you all to do it with me!
Find your intent, set a goal, and we can prepare for Easter together.
That’s about it for this update! We are doing well and enjoying mission life.
Да сте живи и здрави!
