March 10, 2023What an amazing week!
Starting off strong, we had 3 lessons with members attending in the first 2 days, that was huge for us.
We saw some beautiful Sunrises, some beautiful Sunsets
*they look the same but there’s a difference*
One theory behind the name of the Black Sea, is from a black sludge covering metal objects from ships and plant matter due to a high concentration of hydrogen sulfide.
Friday we had exchanges with the APs, They came down to check on us make sure that “everything is 6.” (They say this in Bulgaria, it means everything is in order.)
When they were here we had the amazing opportunity to do some service!
We went and helped a charity group put together Food and hygiene kits for a new wave of Ukrainian refuges.
It was so much fun, and helped a great cause.
We are hoping to work with these guys even more in future.
We ended up making a whole truck full before we had to go, but they have enough food to make over a thousand, so we will be returning!
We crossed this really cool bridge on the way home, but I was too tired to get a better photo.
Saturday and Sunday was the celebration of a man named Levski, the monk turned revolutionist who was vital in the Bulgarian revolution against Turkey!
It was a big celebration, they had all these torches and stuff. Pretty wild!
